DCCR NOW WORD
 received 1/05 - 6/05 - discerned by the Assembly 6/25/05

CALL

Come Live in My Spirit and in My Truth.
Surrender all to Me.
Greet the Majesty within you and in others.
Be happy in who you are in Me.

PROCLAMATION

I have anointed you.
We are one in the Spirit.
I am everything you need.
All things are possible in Me.
There is strong spiritual warfare.
I have authority over all things.
The Father loves you as I love you.
I am your nourishment.
I am the Lord.

PROMISE

I am with you and within you.
I have a plan for you.
I give you strength, guidance, and protection.
I provide you with the power that is needed.
I will give you the words to speak.
If you die to self then you will rise with Me.
Repentance and conversion are necessary for life in Me.

 
DIRECTIVE

Keep your eyes on Me - Do not limit Me.
Stand in My Truth and share it.
Enter into My Presence frequently:
Praise Me because it transforms you.
Pray in the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the poor who don't know Me.
Do whatever I tell you.
Walk by faith and not by sight.

Do not be anxious or afraid.
Surrender and trust.
Avoid, flee, and resist temptation.
Take up your cross and follow Me.

Discernment of the NOW Word --- June 2004 - December 2004 ---

Keep it simple:  

Live your life through Me, with Me, and in Me, and do whatever I tell you.

A Word For the Year of the Eucharist

"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never be hungry. He who believes in me will never thirst." John 6:35.

Footnote from the Jerusalem Bible:  As wisdom invites man to her table (Pr. 9:1), so does Jesus. He alone knows the secrets of God and reveals them to man; He is the living bread that supremely satisfies, if men will only come to him; but they must seek it before it is too late.

"You will look for me and will not find me: where I am you cannot come." John 7:34.

Again he said to them: "I am going away; you will look for me and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come." John 8:21.

Then they shall call to me, but I will not answer, they shall seek me eagerly and shall not find me. Pr. 1:28.
