MASS COMMUNICATIONS

We have a free press; they are free to tell the truth without being
persecuted or dictated to by the government. Is that the case in America? Or are
they free to tell whatever they please? Our founding fathers intended the
former so that Americans always had the truth from which to form their opinions,
but our current press thinks the latter so they can lead Americans to what they,
the press, think we should believe. Whoever leads people away from the truth
(and Jesus is the Truth), is acting on behalf of Satan, the father of lies.
Scripture says we will know false prophets by their fruits, and that there
will be a time when right is wrong and wrong is right. That time is now. A
woman's right to choose takes precedence over her baby's right to be born. Her
choice should be not to have illicit sex. Surveys show that the people who are
the happiest sexually are those who are monogamous and married, and of those,
only married to their one and only spouse. Statistics show that Catholic divorce
rates are as high as any other demographic group, BUT Catholics who follow the
Church's teaching about sex and contraception and morality have a divorce rate
of only 2% - TWO PERCENT!
Many, many, mis-conceptions that Americans have about sex are the result of
the agenda of a homosexual pedophile named Alfred Kinsey, a man whom Hollywood
is currently honoring with a movie about his life and work. This movie is not
really about his life and work, but is a fantasy about what they want you to
think was his life and work. They present this "information" in a
slick, sophisticated package designed to make you sympathetic to the
protagonists and subject matter. Previously they used this same approach with
abortion in "The Cider House Rules", and they favorably showcase many
other sins through many other films. Adultery and promiscuity are of course
favorite Hollywood themes, and this despite the fact that wholesome family
movies bring much more revenue to the studios. Internet pornography makes
billions and billions of dollars, much of it to the benefit of otherwise
legitimate businesses and corporations. It's ironic that the world's view of
America, to some the "Great Satan," comes from this
"popular" culture that is spread throughout the world by the few.
If we are to take back the country, one of the places to start is the evil
that is being spread to Americans through music, TV, radio, computer Internet,
newspapers, magazines, chat rooms, electronic games, movies (including DVD's and
Videos), books, and so on. These things are not inherently bad but they are used
to bring hard pornography, soft pornography, other sexual content,
homosexuality, juvenile delinquency, propaganda, socialism, adultery,
contraception, revenge, pride, promiscuity, disrespect, child predators, not
just into dirty back alleys, but into our homes, our living rooms, our
marriages, and our families.
We are at war, not just in Iraq and against terrorism, but we are in a
culture war, a war we cannot afford to lose. There will be casualties; some may
even be lost, but there is good news, in fact very Good News. The angels fight
this war in the realm of Principalities and Powers; all we have to do is give
them the sustenance, give them the ammunition, give them the supplies to fight
this war. We do this through prayer, fasting, and good works. Our Blessed Mother
has said to the visionaries at Medjugorje, that good works are worth more than
prayer. (But do not neglect prayer, or you won't perform good works!) So, we
should all do the good deeds every day as we were taught in our boy and girl
scout programs. Remember that the more people we get to help us pray, the more
strength we can give to our troops in heaven. We can't do it all ourselves, so
we must evangelize and catechize every chance we get.
Oh, and that Good News, - you know it already: Jesus Christ has sacrificed
Himself for the cause, out of love for us, and has won the victory!!! Let us go
forth and claim that victory!
