War and Terrorism

     In Zechariah we read, "These are the things you must do, Speak the truth to one another; let the judgments at your gates be such as conduce to peace; do not secretly plot evil against one another; do not love false oaths; since all this is what I hate." It is Yahweh who speaks. 
 
     In Matthew 5/9 we read, "Happy the peacemakers: they shall be called sons of God." and 5/44 "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you; In this way you will be sons of your Father in heaven." 
 
     Jesus said, "Father forgive them, they do not know what they are doing." He shows us the way. 
 
     Let us respond to our Father by offering this prayer and the actions of each day for the conversion of hearts, knowing evil starts in men's hearts. We have all experienced its destruction, misery, and separation. Do we not hate it too?
